About Me
I graduated from UC Davis with two Bachelor of Science degrees – one in the study of the human body (physiology) and the other in the study of the mind (psychology). Two degrees was not enough for me as I really wanted to learn how the substances we ingest – whether it is a drug, herbal, vitamin, food or even poison – affect the body, so I pursued a third degree and obtained a Doctor in Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific. My goal at the time was that no matter where I worked, whether it be in a clinic, pharmacy, hospital, poison or wellness center, I would practice pharmaceutical care in an integrative and holistic way. I am months away from being certified as a food psychology coach and obtaining my cognitive behavioral therapy diploma.
World Health Organization 1948: Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
